which gets to this main ideological concern: to spread the message that your sickness or your illness is primarily your fault, and if you ate the right, "pure" food, then you would not to be susceptible to illness.

Finally went down to see what our janky peach tree had to offer. They’re in so much better shape than most years. Must have been a low bug year. I can’t believe that half dead peach tree is still producing like this. And that’s even leaving a bunch on it for the bears and deer!

A couple of towels on a kitchen counter piled with dozens of peaches.

Another good pottery pickup day! A few bisque pieces and some finished glaze pieces- one I donated to the Ice Cream bowl fundraiser, but the others turned out well! I looooove this shark jug! Will see if I leave it as is or add fossil shark’s teeth glued to the mouth…

A blue robot and a small character bud vase. Face of my green shark’s jug - bugged out eyes and blackened teeth and all!Side of my green shark jug where you can see the back fin and the approximation of gillsAll the pieces I picked up today, except the bad one I donated to the fundraiser.

My new, compact little trick-taker with intentionally swingy scores, Significant Digits, now in playtesting mode. It hopefully satisfies my main design pillar for trick-takers of making players look at their hands in a new way. 🎲✂️

5 prototype cards for my wip Significant Digits splayed out on a paper cutter.

hey it’s a small #pottery update: the rest of the stuff came out of the next kiln batch and i am so happy with my nesting bowls and they (sort of) nest! also i lied and my most hated part of this isn’t glazing. It’s the cleanup i have to do (polishing of the bottoms & raw edges 😭)

small #pottery update: i need to finish the bottoms and take better pics but half of what i put in reduction came out of the kiln recently! I love how this blue over the matte orange glaze looks but i was tired and forgot to write what it was down 😭 but ill try to replicate it again!

As a leatherworker the term "leather-hard" in pottery drives me nuts. What leather? What process? What weight? What 80s Members Only jacket wearing prick came up with this term?

You know y’all complain about the kids not knowing how to read, but Dolly was trying to teach them. She was mailing books to the children. She was working on it.

When your timeline is filled with queer folks and brown/Black people singing the praises of and loudly mourning a 1940s-Tennessee-born white Boomer lady, welp. She was pretty goddamn extraordinary, you can assume.
