If Abdul El-Sayed wins Michigan’s Democratic Senate primary, the political fallout may stretch far beyond the state. The Hill's Ian Swanson breaks down why Republicans could try to turn him into a national symbol.

If Republicans try to turn him into a national symbol, Abdul El-Sayed would likely say, "Bring it on!" It takes serious organic support to win against those financial odds: "$62 million on ads supporting Stevens, giving her a 9:1 spending advantage over El-Sayed"

JD Vance: "We don't want the next administration, whoever -- god forbid you're gonna have President El-Sayed in three years ... "

Actual numbers show Harris lost because Democrats stayed home. She ran as Biden 2.0 ("no daylight, kid"), which tanked her approval, with Trump higher at 46%. Inflation and Borders were decisive issues. What Trump says is meaningless: 'stolen' 2020 election, repeated ending of Iran war.

It's worse than that. Recent polls aggregated by Silver Bulletin have Trump's approval ranging from 32% to 44%, which means that MOE are meaningless. You might as well throw darts blindfolded. So, it's no surprise when results aren't even close. Projections are essentially meaningless.
