I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

I really wished EVERYONE who regularly idolises Prince had a read of Sinèad O’Connor’s autobiography. Their paths crossed obviously with her first big hit. He, according to her, was a very very creepy man. There is a whole chapter detailing why she described him this way. Bill Cosby Epstein creepy!

I think the biggest mistake you can make with BlueSky is to come here for affirmation. I come here (occasionally) to cathartically shout into the void. But its lack of algorithmic pigeon-holing means you can aimlessly discover stuff you didn’t know you liked. Trending video is brilliant!

I just don’t understand how VAR remained silent for both England and Spain these last two games. The only way to shut that type of crass football down,is to have a handful of players on a yellow card.If FIFA want football to be enjoyable they need to punish teams like Argentina for tactical thuggery

Just checked into BBC 6 Music for the first time in a long while and Mr Grimshaw played (for my half hour journey) some of the cheesiest dance crap. I mean, if it’s meant to be a channel for the experimental and non mainstream, why are they playing tunes that have the musical integrity of primula?
