Up there for the worst missed call I’ve seen in the ABS era. Challenging strategy matters!

If you have Eagles preseason tickets that you are not using, email marketing@independencebigs.org. They will put them to good use and find a Philly kid/Big Brother or Big Sister who want to attend. Same goes for any tickets to any Philadelphia sporting event!
The Phillies are back to a positive run differential (+4)
So Bowlan warmed up so he could not enter a 5-0 game. Another masterful gambit by ace tactician Don Mattingly
Daniel Nava, Phillies legend, mentioned on the broadcast tonight
Getting off of Matt Strahm and getting a useful piece in return is the shining star of an otherwise bad offseason from the Phillies
What do you think of the Phillies’ Trade Deadline moves? From @joeedinger.bsky.social www.thegoodphight.com/phillies-dis...
What do you think of the Phillies’ Trade Deadline moves?
Dave Dombrowski and the front office have made their moves.

Trading for Derek Hill was a better move than adding Tarik Skubal. My column:
You could convince me that each of the Phillies moves (or non moves) make sense in a vacuum. When you add them all up and put them into context, the plan makes much less sense
Truly can’t believe the 1B that pushed Bryce Harper back to the outfield is walk year Alec Bohm
It’s probably for the best that Cristopher Sánchez and Zack Wheeler don’t have much hair because they’d probably lose it playing in front of this new defense
There is just absolutely no reason to shift around a third of your lineup’s defensive positions so Alec Bohm and his -1.0 WAR can stay in the lineup for two more months
“How can we make three positions of a bad defense even worse?”
My guess is Arraez to 2B and either Stott to 3B with Bohm gone or Stott to SS with Turner in the OF
Should I do an addendum to the Schwarber ratio that includes Arraez singles?
BREAKING: The Philadelphia Phillies are acquiring second baseman Luis Arraez in a trade with the San Francisco Giants, sources tell ESPN.
The idea of Luis Arraez and Kyle Schwarber being on the same team is very amusing to me
I will remain agnostic on “future of baseball” proposals on trying to fix the 2020s Dodgers problem until I actually see one that will fix the problems raised by the 2020s Dodgers without having terrible unintended consequences…
Is the salary cap also going to make the Dodgers have a bad farm system?
You’re wondering why other teams didn’t/couldn’t match that Skubal package. I’m wondering why literally every other team doesn’t constantly poach people from the Dodgers for their own player dev openings
This deal is brought you by the Dodgers being good at acquisition and dev. No changes to the CBA is doing anything about that.
The year is 2032. Trea Turner is still the Phillies shortstop and has committed 40 errors. Bryce Harper is preparing for his cage match against Dave Dombrowski. Aaron Nola has a 9.60 ERA. And the Phillies are still connected to Taylor Ward
Rosenthal: Teams pursuing right-handed hitting OF are waiting to see what Orioles do with Taylor Ward. Yankees, Phillies, Rangers, Guardians are involved in that market.
Phillies really must not like the asking price for fifth starter types so far
