OTD 65 yrs ago, the cockpit of a B-52F on a 24-hour COVERALL airborne alert mission overheated an hour after takeoff (up to 160F). After ~14 hours, the exhausted crew depressurized and descended to 12,000 feet, increasing fuel consumption. Fuel ran out 8+ hours later, leading to a bailout and crash.
This would greatly improve Seoul traffic.
