Police murdered a Black man in the street in Madison WI today. Shot point blank in the head while on the ground, tased, and surrounded by four cops. It looks like an execution. Multiple videos circulating online. Things are about to get very bad here.

I have been shook by how little traction the Memphis Guard shooting got here in particular. Seems tailor-made for this platform to rage about, but I barely saw anything. And it got coverage! But “US Military shoots US Citizen dead on US soil” seems like it ought to dominate the news cycle.

The new issue of "I'm a Cop" begins with this page, which uses text from ICE agents talking with one another after arresting Job Garcia, a Los Angeles PhD student on June 19, 2025. These figures are all early 1940s superheroes: Minute Man, The Flag, The Great Defender, & Captain Freedom.

I've been making progress on "I'm a Cop" 3, which combines statements from federal law enforcement with early 1940s U.S. flag themed superheroes. The text here is from a recorded conversation between Border Patrol agents and the Florida Highway Patrol in North Palm Beach, May 2, 2025.
