I’m here at the Fish Hatchery encampment in St. Paul as the city prepares to sweep the camp. St. Paul cops are stopping cars coming in but there are dozens of people that have gathered here in anticipation of the sweep in order to help camp residents and document what the city does here today.
It’s super weird that our police keep getting coached by private companies on how to sell what they want to do to the public. Lexipol, which quite literally writes department policies for law enforcement agencies, does the same shit.

Terrible. This is more preferential treatment for anyone who police favor. Remember, a large percentage of line-of-duty deaths are from traffic crashes, as well as natural deaths like heart attacks etc. If your dad has a heart attack at work, should you get a special license plate?
