Blaming issues with Linux on Linux users while treating the same issues on Windows as an unpleasant inevitability, like wasps or earthquakes

D&D in Japan: The big mid-90s push. The bunkobon format of the three-volume Rules Cyclopedia, localized in both text and artwork style. It sought to reclaim some of the ground lost to Lodoss and Sword World - complete with D&D in the arcades with Capcom to promote the Mystara setting.

Considering how much Bluesky likes to repost the "that's clearly someone with a fetish for getting yelled at" tweet, you'd think the site as a whole would be better about not participating in that kind of perversion

For practice I use a website that shows random photos of people in different poses, wearing different clothes, etc. for a minute each and sketch them as best I can. Lately to mix it up I've been doing it with animal photos, and what I've found is it's fun to draw giraffes and their weird ass heads

This year I've been challenging myself to draw every day. Lately I've only had time for forms and gesture drawings and stuff and it's started to feel like a slog so I told myself fuck it, forget 'em and just draw whatever you want for a while, and I guess what I wanted to draw was Zoe from Swan Boy

On the 7th of October 1988, the 1st episode of Gunbuster was released. The 6 Episode OVA was directed by Hideaki Anno & produced by Studio Gainax and would receive a sequel (Diebuster) in 2004. It debuted in SRW F Final (Sega Saturn) in 1998. Happy 38th Anniversary 🎉

I've always hated the "Linux users being mean is why people don't switch" rhetoric because like, if asking a question online about why your computer dont work and getting shitty asshole answers was a real barrier of entry then nobody would be using windows or macos either.
