I agree with Robin that this looks very cool! Not sure yet if it will fit the way I've been using Obsidian, but I know a lot of people are fans of Scrivener, and y'all might be interested.
Finally, an algorithm shows me something good. This plugin for Obsidian was dropped on me by YouTube and it looks *excellent*. I'm definitely going to give it a go, even if it's just for zen and typewriter mode. I miss typewriter mode from Scrivener so much.
I won't be able to vote on the day, but I have sorted out a handy place where I can vote early!
There are plenty of places you can vote in the upcoming New Zealand General Election - have a look at "Find a voting place" on the Electoral Commission website. vote.nz/2026-general... You can vote at some of our libraries - check our page: my.christchurchcitylibraries.com/new-zealand-... ^DR

Crow became accidentally important at work when all he wanted was to play with garbage.
This includes my first look into Keri Hulme! Thoughts: compelling stuff you want to keep turning over in your head, but very strange as well.
And another thing I forgot about: my reading for September! Fewer books this month, because Umberto Eco is a very good but very DENSE writer and it took me about 3 weeks to finish Foucault's Pendulum. As usual, there is some wide variation here.
Yay for remembering things a week late! 😆
Apparently this year it's taken about a week for me to remember October is ADHD Awareness (Acceptance?) month. My brain's a mess, what's new? 😆 Have a post about how I write like this: https://red-pens-and-playwriting.ghost.io/operating-while-distracted/
A man is drinking in a bar next to a fisherman, who's got an impressive collection of scars, including a peg leg, a hook hand, an eye patch. He says, "I hope you don't mind if I ask, but how did you lose the leg?" "Oh, it was a fearsome gale - fifty foot swells, we were being tossed about."
