Two recent Zatanna blank sketch covers I did - one features the original recipe Z, one the rad Absolute version - because I have a surplus of blank sketch covers in general, and Zatanna covers specifically.

here's another throwback from 2016 a private poster commission inspired by Moby Dick honestly still really love this one, both the concept and execution i worked on pre-inked scratchboard for this one (so fully black) instead of the usual white claybord that i ink myself 30x40cm

a black and white scratchboard illustration inspired by Mody Dick. It depicts a giant white whale about to collide with a whaling ship. The scene is viewed from a bird's eye view, high above the scene. Seagulls are seen orbiting around the scene. The ship and the whale create waves in the water that reinforce the tension between them.

Supporter sketch request! Was asked for Nyarlathotep, from the writings of Lovecraft. I could draw any version I wanted, but I decided it would be fun to do my own character design. This sketch is mostly inspired by the appearance of the crawling chaos in "The Dream Quest of Unknown Kadath".

Lovecraft character Nyarlathotep, here seen as a tall, lean, elegant figure wearing a belted robe that's open to the waist, with large, loose sleeves and a hood that's half draped over the pschent he wears on his head, marked with an upside-down ankh over the forehead. He's cradling a cat in one arm, but the cat might be part of him because one of its tails (and it has too many) might be merging as well as entangling with a series of tentacles webbing out from Nyarlathotep's sleeve. There are other things that are wrong with this picture: too many eyelids here, a missing thumb there, too many digits or pupils on a cat's paw or eye, little fractal spirals emanating from tentacles or tails. That boy ain't right.

Supporter sketch request! This'n asked for anything related to the "Evil Dead" series. Another nice excuse to rewatch a movie I hadn't seen in a while (the 1981 original, that is) and now I'm like, "Man, why am I not watching this movie, like...every day?" Anyway, here's a demon in an iconic moment.
