CicLAvia forever. Sat in the shade for lunch on Santa Monica Blvd with my kiddo. An otherwise impossible level of ease. You can really feel it, deep down, when you sit outside and spaces are open and the sights or sounds of cars aren’t tugging at the edges of your brain.
Chris@chrisbybikes.bsky.social · 3mo agoOne thing I was marveling throughout our ride at CicLAvia today was how quiet it was. I could just ride next to my son and chat. Listen to this. This is usually filled with loud, polluting, honking cars. Cities aren't loud, cars are loud. Remove the cars and it's so human.
