Interesting post. You get a raise once a year. Your budget is fixed the other 364 days. And you buy stuff daily. People may then be more price change aware than wage change aware.
Beau@runningsignal.com · 2h agoNo one knows shit about rates of this or that. It is how much of the things I usually buy can I cover today versus yesterday. Inflation is a measure of basket prices meeting fixed budgets. Wages rise, but for the individual they are steps. So it is water lines and purchase frequency that matters.

Aaaaaaaand AP just called the Kansas U.S. Senate Democratic primary for Rev. Adam Hamilton, so now there is, indeed, six. Not surprising (he was breaking fundraising records), but notable all the same. (And possibly one more pastor nominee by night’s end — we’ll see.)

It would insulate congressional maps from legal challenges and specify that existing restrictions on maps only apply to state Senate/House maps
