As a lifelong sci-fi lover, I think the dichotomy between how AI exists in sci-fi and the societal backlash to LLMs, especially by creatives, is fascinating (and justified)

kind of a half-baked thought here but it's a shame criticism as a paid professional discipline has been sidelined by social media because it could point the way forward out of the internet madness-induced problem of writing that's crouched in what the author anticipates a comments section will say

Requesting your library acquire copies of a book is one of the best ways to uplift the authors you love.

This sort of censorship is harmful enough, but the fact that it specifically targets trans people is egregious. We can trust kids to choose what they read, and trust librarians to make informed decisions about what's available

guys we as a society really need to learn that bugs are friends. bugs are cute and good and kind. even if you are scared of bug then it doesn’t mean bug need to die. if bug is causing issue to your home, then understandable, but bug are good mostly.

btw misinformation isn't cool just because you think the way it's delivered is funny. Don't spread mis/disinfo. It's bad for your brain :)
