Psychotherapy, spirituality, neurodiversity, literature, cats, nature, how do we stay present to suffering and beauty?

This is correct: Farage was recruited by the press to 1) front up their endless outrage campaigns over nothing, and 2) troll the Tories from the right. Under no circumstances was he employed to 3) become the editors’ boss and control things like press regulation. So they’re revoking his legitimacy.

Is this the end of the Reform revolution?
The latest polling showing Nigel Farage's plummeting approval ratings will no doubt make grim reading for the Reform UK leader, but the problems he and his party face go far deeper.
His personal approval ratings have fallen almost vertically since the start of July, according to the latest research from More in Common. For a party as dependent on the energy, charisma and ability of a single man as Reform UK, a rating of
-32 - down 10 points in just a fortnight - is potentially catastrophic.
Mr Farage has come through various crises before - he has survived a plane crash, leadership challenges and come out of retirement twice - so some will reasonably ask why this time is different. The answer lies in what he was attempting: not just leaving the EU, the cause that defined his career, but becoming prime minister and forming a government with a start-up party.
That strategy has now been badly exposed.
Reform's 15-month run at the top of every poll ended this month when Andy Burnham replaced the unpopular Sir Keir Starmer and took Labour back into the lead, while Kemi Badenoch's Tories, with a far higher approval rating than Mr Farage's, have begun to gain ground too.
Insiders blame a failure to sort out candidate selection and build "a coherent narrative," with one admitting: "I have never known Nigel to be so grumpy and tired. He is fed up."
Most in Reform will admit that without Farage, the party cannot win - so if he stops being a political asset, the challenge may be finished.

You know what I'm sick of? Being labelled 'weird' or 'radical' or 'extreme' for literally just wanting to live in a world where we just bloody leave animals alone. Isn't it actually the least extreme position to hold to want as little harm and suffering as possible?..

I'm a very flawed feminist, not an official theologian (whatever that is) and stubbornly agnostic. Which is all to say that this gathering of people is for anyone who thinks that feminist theology could have something to offer them as they consider their faith and/or spirituality.

Poster advertising an online gathering which is part of Anna Robinson's Faith Shift Conversations. The topic is feminist theology and it is on Sunday 31st May between 4-6pm.

A tsunami of anti-trans hate to be published in the UK legacy press tomorrow. All designed to put maximum pressure on the government to cave to the obscenely hateful demands of those calling for trans folk to be excluded from public life. Remember you're loved and only you define your identity.

"Even though our roles as therapist or clients are well defined, transformation is not limited to the client’s experience. Therapists would do well to remember this humbling truth, in order to examine their role in this relational giving and receiving."
