Technically arcade perfect. The arcade port of Columns would run on the Sega system c board, which is essentially just a Genesis in an arcade cabinet, the key differences being a slightly faster Moto 68k processor, the removal of the Z80 processor, and a slight reworking of the audio hardware
When the PlayStation launched it’s lack of internal storage or bundled memory card led some game developers to fall back on an older method, the save password, though of course the larger and more complex the game the bigger these passwords would become

Laughin Jokin Numb.. never mind. A lot of people remember LJN as the slop game people, but they were just the publisher, all of their games were licensed out to other software houses, including Atlas and Rare, and while it’s true they sold some particularly bad games they also had some good ones
The lack of the mainline sonic title on the Saturn left a power vacuum and several new games and mascots would attempt to fill the hedgehog shaped hole in the lineup, one such attempt was Bug!, originally developed as a sonic title but Sega of Japan disapproved and a new protagonist was selected

Dungeons & disappointment In 2007 after having their contract with Wizards of the coast canceled Paizo Publishing would begin work on an RPG based on D&D 3.5e, two years later Pathfinder would be released and alongside it’s sci-fi counterpart Starfinder bring needed competition to tabletop RPGs
