I say this as someone who LOVES the original film — there is not a single aspect of Clueless that translates to 2026. It was lightning in a bottle, a satirical glimpse into SoCal wealth during the dying days of ‘90s monoculture. It was messy and silly but charming. A legacy sequel is a mistake.
