This is what a decade of Trumpism has encouraged -- a GOP gubernatorial candidate in Colorado who's unsure of how many people he's killed but positive that his Jewish opponent is a tool of Satan. These people were in the tent before, but the rest of the party seemed embarrassed about them. No more!

Depicting Jewish people with horns is a centuries-old, dehumanizing, antisemitic trope. Democratic Gov nominee Phil Weiser is outspoken about his mother’s birth in a Nazi concentration camp, his family members killed in the Holocaust, and the threat posed by antisemitism today.

Sen. Booker: “Todd Blanche, at the highest heights of our Justice Department, ran to the prison of Ghislaine Maxwell…and met with her for 2 days, insulting every single Epstein victim that had been asking for a meeting for years.”

Yep. Earlier this year I was interviewed by Sharyn Alfonsi of 60 Minutes about my Epstein investigation. Subsequently, CBS pulled the segment and fired the reporter. The MAGA buyout of media is aiding the Trump administration’s Epstein cover up.

Banks permitted millions in suspicious transactions tied to Epstein—and former 60 Minutes correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi had the story months ago. But the report would never air. trib.al/ZShZlIS

Sen. DURBIN: This isn’t Democrats vs. Republicans. This is rule of law vs. lawlessness. The Attorney General is the people’s lawyer. Todd Blanche continues to act as Donald Trump’s personal lawyer, treating the Justice Department like a law firm serving one client—the President.

One more interesting point: this spring I sat down with Sharyn Alfonsi of 60 Minutes for an extensive interview about my Epstein investigation. Subsequently, CBS pulled the segment and fired the reporter. The MAGA buyout of media has unquestionably aided the Trump administration’s cover up here.

Senator Ron Wyden@wyden.senate.gov · yesterday

Bombshell new report out from my investigators this morning spanning our four year investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s financial records. This report shows exactly how Wall Street protected Epstein and enabled his sex trafficking for decades. Mega thread following with some key points:

Epstein survivor Dani Bensky: "There's always a glimmer of hope that somebody will do the right thing. I hoped that it would be John Cornyn, because he has been such a great advocate for putting sex trafficking rings away. To see that this is how he's going to end his legacy is really depressing."

Whitehouse: "Next we get to this crooked slush fund Trump family tax amnesty scam. We've got these two new pieces of paper. One signed only by Blanche, one not signed by anybody. Neither of which has any legal effect whatsoever. They are decorative. Can you trust Todd Blanche? I do not."

Incredible nonsense from John Cornyn. True, the harm to Epstein’s victims can’t be remedied by a “no” vote. But why should Blanche’s corrupt cover-up of the Epstein files—in violation of a Congressional mandate(!)—be rewarded by “yes”? Can’t get any more craven than this.

Cornyn justifies his support for Blanche: "That's one of those things that can't be remedied by a 'no' vote"

Gill: All 100 senators last week passed a non-binding resolution condemning any pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell. They're simultaneously considering confirming the guy who met with her and moved her to a low-security facility as the top cop in the United States. That is so insane to me.

As his confirmation to lead the Justice Department hung by a thread last week, acting Attorney General Todd Blanche told faith leaders on a private call that he was preparing to take action to roll back abortion access nationwide. www.politico.com/news/2026/08...

Blanche assures anti-abortion supporters that Dobbs will be ‘permanent in every single state’

Whitehouse on Blanche and Ghislaine Maxwell: "It was to get exculpatory information about Donald Trump and then reward her ... How often does a prisoner allegedly facing threats or danger get moved to a less secure facility? Think about it. It doesn't pass the test of common sense."

Schiff: "This is someone who has violated his code of ethics blatantly, misled this committee, supported establishment of a fund for cop beaters, covered up docs implicating president in the Epstein files, use DOJ to enrich the president. Is this who we're prepared to confirm as AG? It appears so."

Whitehouse: "Today I think is a sad and embarrassing day for this committee as it looks like on a party-line vote we are going to advance out of this committee probably the most discreditable person ever to seek the office of attorney general. Let's start with the Epstein files ... "

Durbin: "Mr Blanche has aided and abetted the most corrupt administration in the history of the United States ... Blanche's willingness to casually lie under oath about he statement he made in a room full of witnesses shows the lengths he will go to to avoid offending President Trump."
