Men are constantly killing themselves in attempt to look like He-Man instead of considering what it is about Tom Holland lip synching to Umbrella while wearing a corset that makes women lose their minds

Censoring depictions of regular degular "sexual gratification" is especially irritating because it implies that sexuality is a big bad scary thing we don't talk about and need to hide. It's absurd. Puritanism won't stop people engaging with porn, it just shames anyone who does.

Kickstarter officially banning adult content now. Knew this was coming, but it still sucks to have yet another part of the internet that I've been explicitly evicted from. Digital gentrification is exhausting.

Screenshot of Kickstarter's new rules against mature content, in which everything pornographic is banned. It's a long document that's formatted in a way that I can't copy and paste all the text that's in it, but the first is that all point and anything sexual is now banned.

“The gift included a handwritten note that read: “Your beauty was my early inspiration for Neytiri. Too bad you were shooting another movie. Next time.” The whole article is damning but that bit really got me. He just said it!

A new lawsuit filed against filmmaker James Cameron and The Walt Disney Company alleges that Cameron used the facial features of a then-14-year-old actress as the basis for one of the main characters in the “Avatar” films.

Many people I know wouldn't be alive if not for their medications. I certainly wouldn't still be here. I'm disgusted we're letting a con artist whose anti-vaxx nonsense has already gotten people killed now try to goad you into trying to stop the meds that are keeping you alive.

I take Lexapro. I have taken Lexapro for over two decades. The times that I have discontinued taking Lexapro have ended very badly for me. RFKJ is trying to kill millions of Americans like me. www.nytimes.com/2026/05/04/s...

I was a voracious reader as a kid and as a result had a pretty vast vocabulary for my age. Did I always deploy the words correctly? No, with pretty funny results at times, but I was a little sponge. My essays reflected that. Thankfully my teachers encouraged me rather than assuming I was cheating.

I'll say it again, one of the worst things this rampant push to cram "generative AI" into everything has done is make people suspect bright kids of cheating when they're just nerdy or bookish or neurodivergent, sanding down their unique edges to fit into people's lowered, homogenized expectations.

Leaving Neverland is one of the most nauseating documentaries I’ve ever seen, and the fact that it’s no longer available to watch is a shame. The Michael Jackson Estate is vile and their smearing and silencing of his victims is horrific.
