It's weird how many SFF novels do not really want to deal with how unwoke fascism is.

The worst crime you can commit continues to be calling out the crimes against humanity that polite people commit.

My greatest joy is when #Hookland manifests in the creative work of others. You all own it if you need and want it. It is a pre-enchanted playground to be used. I could never imagine nor produce the county as industrial synthwave artefact, but here it gloriously is as just that.

I don't think people have, as yet, fully grasped the likely societal impact of the fact that generations of women, LGBTQ+ folk and others have suffered, and have simmered with anger, and now, thanks to the Epstein files, we don't just have the abstract concept of patriarchy to blame - we have names.

There's no point trying to give ground to extremists to make them happy. Their lives are dedicated not only to making others miserable, but to the endless pursuit of unhappiness for themselves.
