Great conversation, so much to think about. One thing I took away is that we have agency, we can go on strike, and refuse to go along with whoever is pretending to be our overlords. It's always nice to have some company on a picket line, but we get to decide our actions.

Very interesting branching thread to read around. People understand that the shape of government itself can and should change. With any luck, people will start to apply this awareness to the other systems we have constructed for ourselves, such as economic.

Great thread, and consistent with my own pessimistic view that a lot of what Trump is doing will be pretty sticky, in that future presidents won't want to unilaterally give up from the prerogatives he has acquired for the office. That said, I also think other states will discipline US overreach.
