Used Maple instead. We now officially have a 2 tier public private health care system.

Data centers should be charged 2-3x the rate for electricity, and residents should be charged greatly reduced rates wherever they exist. Data centers must be zoned outside of all residential and public commerce areas and subject to all environmental impact report requirements & regulations.

This is not access to healthcare! This is “triage theatre” (Great term @thomjeff.bsky.social & exactly right to describe this “service”!)

From what I hear, the new Virtual Care NB “service” basically just roadblocks patients or tells them to go to a walk-in clinic or the ER. Well done to the NB gov’t, taking a bandaid service that worked pretty well and gutting it while clogging up ERs and leaving patients stranded.

I WANT in person. I WANT to not have to drive to GD MONCTON from Freddy for a 15m appointment with someone who gives no fucks about my care, to BEG for a conversation about my 'complex' condition (ADHD/periM/LC). But in lieu of that, eVisitNB was a good/decent solution. This new version is NOT.

I am so furious about the state of healthcare access in NB. This new virtual care thing is a mess. I’ve been waiting YEARS for a primary care provider. Just trying to book a Pap smear, which I’m overdue for, is a nightmare.

Someone mapped out all the conditions and questions that result in an evisit (not to circumvent the system but to help navigate)
