If you would try to win by abandoning trans people (or any targeted group) you can save this “we need to win” talk; there is no “we.” I am about solidarity, and you have chosen anti-solidarity. You are not any “we” I recognize. You are the enemy I’m trying to defeat. Beating you is how my “we” wins.

I was just thinking that Trump backing down on the public execution is a way bigger deal than it's been made out to be. He came to office boasting he could shoot someone down in the middle of 5th Ave and not lose a voter. It may never have been true, but it clearly isn't now. He's badly weakened.

As a complete aside, I think Will Forte would absolutely nail a Ron Schutz impression.
