Also been asked, why not go overseas - The surgeons I spoke to were not comfortable operating on me unless my BMI was at or below 30, and realistically speaking I don't think I will ever be below 30 BMI. I'm quite frankly not comfortable with doctors who form restrictions based on BMI anyway.
We are currently sitting at 80% for my goal!! Thank you so much everyone who has offered support! To answer some questions!! I currently have a surgery date set in November - however that date might change as I'm still going to a consultation with a 2nd surgeon this week. 🧵
