In my current multiverse horror, the antagonist is not what the reader will be expecting throughout most of the story, & it is hinted at from the very beginning through specific colors and visions. For example, the first odd thing the MC sees is a vibrant blue moss on an otherwise dead gray world.

In my book series, Nihilian Effect, the goddess portrays herself as mysterious & elegant, but has a quick temper that she constantly struggles to hide, & at her core she is shallow & unimaginative. These aspects are represented in the layers of her sword. #drawing #art #reading #fantasy #books
