My tiktok algorithm decided I must be against the destruction of books. So now I have these endless videos of people with opinions about how they do that to monopolize knowledge for the AI... My guy that's called copyright, these books were not yours to begin with

rewrote my personal site to incorporate teal.fm plays & tangled pinned repos. Also it's gleam! And rendered weird! Eventually will move my blog posts to standard.site but they're so nice as markdown in a folder now. I still need to write some more, hopefully I'll have improved since the last one.

I really don't grasp how the "plan your trip" companies still exist. How many customers a day you got you can afford a 4k/month place in the city center and multiple employees. What kind of markup do you need to make that work

My not-so-hot take is that what Mamdani is doing *IS* incrementalism, and the bar is so deeply in hell that a politician just doing *anything* good consistently is a total anomaly for people. And I think for now that is good and fine, because it is restoring people’s faith that better is possible.

A post from @matzollerseitz.bsky.social reads:

“So what I'm getting from this is, incrementalism is bullshit and we should just do the stuff that we say would be good for society”

And the post is quoting a post from @owillis.bsky.social that reads:

“They call him WIN-dani

Mamdani delivers promised rent freeze on 1 million rent-stabilized apartments https://www.politico.com/news/2026/06/25/mamdani-delivers-promised-rent-freeze-00977449”

There's this person in the go server whom I can tell is *not* an LLM but claudespeaks so fluently it's disturbing. I'd call them out but don't want to offend them, the risk is real.

Nuclear opinion: I don’t care if you use AI to write code,¹ but making a human review a change before an LLM is disrespectful. Why am I catching your bugs if a computer could have done it? It’s like asking to review code that doesn’t compile or pass CI. ¹ As long as you do it responsibly.
