I stand by my commentary that if you start a sentence to me with the word "Look" and then pause for a half second before continuing (and you're _not _ using the word to point out something I should view with my eyes) my automatic response is going to be 😐 then 🙄 followed by a {sigh}
161 years ago, enslaved Black Americans in Galveston, Texas learned they were free. Juneteenth reminds us of both the promise of freedom and the responsibility to build a more just nation. Today we celebrate that while recognizing that freedom is still a work in progress.
