Two tiny bulbophyllum flowers blooming in my front yard.

A beautiful bloom at the tropical botanical garden, reminds me of a bamboo orchids, arundina graminfolia, but pretty sure it’s something else.

Quiet morning. Still raining in and off, but no strong winds. Power was only out briefly. We have morning coffee to enjoy. Then I’m putting the hanging plants back up and clearing the storm nearby storm drains.

Schoolhouse rock was the best!

I took a law class in high school and our teacher asked all of us if we could recite the Preamble. We all immediately started singing it to the Schoolhouse Rock theme. She’d never heard it before and looked at us like we were all in a cult.

A video from a couple of hours ago. The rain still continues through the night. Notice my ohia tree, it was very full and bushy but now multiple branches have broken from hurricane Lala’s gusts.

Tried to post a video of the crazy wind and rain but website tosses me out when I do. We stay dry inside. Stuck a towel under the door when water seeped in from being blasted by violent wet gusts. Lanai and carport have flooding, but indoors stays dry.

2) You don’t have to vote on everything all at once. The electronic ballot system allows you to save your progress. So you can vote at your convenience and even revise your ballot, so long as it’s submitted by the deadline.

Episode 52 of Kilauea volcano, taken on Tuesday night about 10 pm. i just used my phone so not as great a photo, but it was impressive. I’ve heard it was 600 ft high. I’ve seen higher, but this was a very wide fountain.
