Versatile Artist. From pyrography to watercolor and lots in-between! I paint all kinds of wildlife with a main focus on reptiles, as well as mythical creatures! https://linktr.ee/katscales?fbclid=PAAaZJU_p11MoOlDJcfdhUaDHKx2JeI6OZB0mQqszGgi0Kh-Gc629ubj84

Spent the day carving. This was my fourth time working with this medium! I think this watercolor paper is too textured, so will stamp them on another. I was just really eager to see how they turned out!

Did you know, that Dinosaur Skulls were some of the first watercolor paintings that I did back in 2017. I have really been wanting to return to them, and make a new one. What species would you like to see?

Which shimmer magnet is your favorite out of this bunch? ✨ What creature would you like to see on a wood slice next? I am also happy to do custom shimmer magnets! Or make them into an ornament / wall hanging!!

2 parts of a 4 part series never finished with canids assigned to elements. The coyote is fire, the wolf is earth. Both were illustrated with copic marker and ink, on 12” x 9” Bristol circa 2018/2019. Background color was digitally applied afterwards for prints.

Illustration of a coyote looking forward with a gold triangle behing it. In the background are Joshua trees, cacti and some aloe plants. The background color is digitally added and is a purple/red/orange sunset color. Illustration of a grey wolf facing forward with a downward facing triangle and a line going through it. Behind the wolf from top to bottom are aspen trees, lavender, indian paintbrush plants, and then rocks with lichen in the forground.

A look at some future pyrography wall hangings… Echidna, Lowland Streaked Tenrec, and an African Crested Porcupine. Now that these are all sketched out, the next step will be to burn em! Which is your favorite so far?
