listened to NPR this week reporting on the current state of COVID - it was all "its like flu, its endemic, but its ok" til you got to the end, then it was "its endemic, people are still getting sick and die" no mention of long covid at all ... was not impressed at all (checked for PPE)

We know from early in the pandemic that opening windows and using hepa filters reduced transmission by 50%. Mask use for a couple of months would have done the rest. This would be an eradicated disease (2.4 x 0.5 x 0.4 =0.48, which is << 1)
