Haven't used my Iontophoresis in a few days because I've been able to prevent my hands from not sweating in the mornings, but thought I should do a session today since I should do it at least once a week, and I couldn't make it through 5 minutes because it was too painful.

i worry that men think being A Good Guy is dramatically and heroically intervening on behalf of an endangered woman and then being publicly rewarded on a grand scale when actually being A Good Guy is just usually saying, “hey man that’s not funny” or “wow that’s fucked up” and there is no reward

I had a conversation w a Lyft driver a few weeks ago that I still think about. I hope this musician, eager to share her art, finds her way to teaching. While the conversation started rocky, Im glad she got an opportunity to talk about her ambitions. Piano teachers are way more valuable than A.I.
I just suddenly remembered the Portuguese woman who ran the tuck shop at my university. I always ordered an avo salad sandwich from her and it was soooo good every time. It was just a French roll with avo, lettuce, Feta cheese, and I think cucumber? But it was soooo good
I was planning on mowing the lawn early this morning, figured it'd take like 2 hours and get it done before it got too hot. It ended up taking almost 4 hours 🫠

we live in a world where "humanity is rotten to the core" is a more tolerable idea than "capitalism is kinda busted" but what I love about "capitalism is kinda busted" is realizing every good thing that happens is in spite of capitalism because humans are that committed to doing good things

I've decided to stop fighting the fact that my body seems to want to wake up at 6am. I feel like trying to sleep in until 7am is one of the things that cause me to start sweating in the morning, and we're going into summer now so waking at 6 isn't so bad since the sun's already out.

I'd love to adopt a cat or two (I think a bonded pair would be nice so they could keep each other company), but I really need to get to a stable income point where I could actually afford cats. And I'd have to cat-proof the whole house because no way I'd let them outside unsupervised.
I have a sewing project I've been planning for months and I finally actually started it today and it was sooo satisfying and I really just want to work on that right now instead of commissions
I do my T shot on Saturday mornings because it's the only day I reliably leave the house, so I always remember when it's Saturday, and I do my shot before showering. But I didn't go out yesterday and only remembered I didn't do my shot at like 9pm.
