The Walton family (who own Walmart) are worth over $400 billion, yet many of their employees are on SNAP. Bezos is worth over $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP. The people who need help are not the problem. It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage.
Jamaica is going to need so much help. We should be staging Navy medical ships, Coast Guard, and National Guard units to be ready to arrive as soon as the storm passes. That's how a leader of the free world should use our enormous assets to help people facing major disasters.

By not pursuing a more aggressive litigation strategy and getting a TRO or preliminary injunction, Harvard has effectively acceded the dismantling of university based research programs. Much of the research that was shut down cannot be simply restarted.
