This is correct, but also another reason why Democrats have to lean into accountability and oversight as hard as possible when they retake Congress. It's not just about punishing criminals. It's about making it clear to the country the depth of the damage done to ready them for the repairs.

Let me be a Debby Downer here: it will take more than 2 consecutive terms to slightly rebuild our government because the damage these guys have inflicted on every department & agency is *enormous*. Don’t look for a quick fix.

The attacks on Jasmine Crockett are ridiculous. She endorsed James Talarico the day after losing the primary and told Democrats to rally around our nominees. She’s now using her time and resources to help down-ballot Democrats who don’t have the money or national attention of a Senate candidate.

The Milo stuff is the perfect picture of fascism. You think you're protected because you go as big as you can on racism, you spend years harassing the movement's perceived enemies, you even disavow your own sexuality. They'll still throw you in a cage over the tiniest disagreement already forgotten.
