I love writing. I love the struggle of figuring out how to order a whole bunch of ideas, and the satisfaction that comes with getting everything just right. I also hate this process immensely.

Read Mishima's "The Sailor Who Fell from Grace with the Sea" and was not prepared for a proto-incel horror story, this is the first ever book where I had to skip 4 whole pages due to simply too much cruelty. Incredible.

I have been directly involved with or on the periphery of academia for most of my adult professional life, Emily Wilson's critique is sound and far from surprising.

I always say I met my husband through friends but we met bc Leslie and the LY's stayed at the motel I managed and I saw their tour minivan and asked for a pic and I put it on FB and made friends w this band in PDX and my husband was in the band and I met him when I moved to PDX many years later

I worked at a video store in the late 90s. Srsly bullshit to bring them back unrewound and yes we did charge you for the inconvenience (inconvenience=putting the vhs in one of our ONLY TWO rewinding machines and staring at it for 5 minutes)
