He tried telling The Economist’s Editor-in-Chief that a British civil war is "inevitable," only for her to calmly point out that he hasn't stepped foot in the UK in years, she actually lives there, and real crime stats prove he made the whole thing up. Pure gold.
Watched “La Haine” again this evening. Still as powerful now as it was then. I realised tonight that that film shaped a lot of my values.

My predictions: 1. At least one of them will show up anyways, until 2. They are imprisoned, or at least taken into custody, and 3. Twitter will have "news" reports of how more Burke family members have been targeted for their Christian beliefs.
The Journal@thejournal.ie · 2w agoIsaac, Ammi and Martina Burke have been banned from physically attending court cases involving Enoch Burke. In a ruling this morning, a High Court judge said "actions have consequences" after the trio repeatedly interrupted proceedings involving the former teacher.
So is AI the way forward because it can do everything much cheaper and better than humans? Or is it dystopian because it can do everything much cheaper and better than humans? Or a secret obvious third thing?

I don't know what I did when I moved to Bluesky, but for some reason, I am exposed daily to a lot of news from the trans-gaming-coding intersection. This has an inherent danger of making me think I am significantly cooler than I in fact am. I also often feel like the "Irish Uncle Joey" meme.
