I make Indie Game Trailers! Trailer guy at @devolverdigital.com Survivor of 8 years in the VFX Industry! Dad to 2 awesome boys!

So here is a great finding from Twitter/@ChrisRetro1986, holding L/R avoids the nuclear meltdown even with SA-1 running simulation in parallel. Awesome to have you all testing the new game. By the way, as you can see you can place multiple RCI zones and destroy many things at once via mouse!

I know it's not much, but in an attempt to ease myself to some sort of normalcy, here's a little SFCD update for you. I finally finished and added in this new Arwing model I did ages ago that I'm quite proud of. I think it turned out very nicely.

SimCity SA-1 now has gesture controls. You all know me about my SA-1 work, but it's not just about accelerating games. It's about improving games to make they even more AMAZING than what they already are. Place a lot of roads, parks, wires & more with your mouse!

it's so rarely "the teams that worked on this were so creative and resourceful, amazing that they were able to accomplish this in 2009" and it's almost always "boy, computers' gigaflops must have been a good rendering engine GPU's and whatnot" computers don't make visual effects, people do

Friendly reminder that this shit melted the computers they were rendering him on. Remarking on the VFX of Transforrmers 2

HYPERDROP is a mind-melting pachinko roguelite about big combos, big scores, and big balls, coming soon to Steam! Play the demo during the 'Pins & Pegs Fest' on Steam and wishlist now! Just. One. More. Drop.

I’ve had this 3-way (well, technically 4-way) overclocked GSU-2 cart loaded up with StarFox EX for a while now. I finally finished the crystal testing and we were able to push it from 21.4MHz to 32MHz. It starts to become unstable at 36MHz and up, so that’s where we had to cut it off at 32MHz.

This is also how you end up with a trailer which rather than showing gameplay starts with: “In the land of Ashkatan, when the Great Embers ensured peace and order for all Glaivkins, life was beautiful. Until the Embers were extinguished by the one known as…” 🫠

The amount of games you see out there called shit like Immortal Glaivekin: Embers of Ashkatan because the devs have been all consumed with making it for seven years and they can't conceive of a normal person reading it and going "what the fuck is a Glaivekin"

“I knew I wasn’t going to be the lead, which was totally fine, but are you telling me that after more than 40 years of friendship, he can’t pick up the phone and say he’d love to throw a few lines my way?” said the extraterrestrial
