Here's an example of a Toronto startup @thelocal.to doing wonderful work visually even as news photos are long gone in mainstream journalism. Note that none of the photos are strictly posed. They offer artistry, a personal view. The political candidate standing in the dirty snowbank is a classic.

Genuinely spend more time than is productive imagining what Sorkin's The Newsroom would have been like had they managed to cast Marissa Tomei. And whether, had they done so, they'd now be making a 14th season.

There is a book club organization out there emailing authors telling them the club will feature their work for a "modest fee" for "branded materials" etc. Do not fall for this nonsense. You should never, as a writer, have to pay for such things.
