Happy mid-chapter break! #Silver&Iron Part THREE will start on Werewolf Wednesday the 6th of May. In lieu of a comic update this week, please enjoy this full-colour illustration featuring our protagonists! They're just good friends #OCsky

Full-colour illustration of the characters Ashley Lovell and Lake Bailey from the webcomic Silver & Iron. Lake has his right arm around Ashley's shoulders so that his right hand clasps loosely against Ashley's chest, and his free hand relaxing on his (Lake's) own thigh, while Ashley has his left leg slung so that his left thigh is resting over Lake's right, and so that his foot stays on Lake's left calf. Ashley's own arms are raised up and behind his head; Lake's cheek is against Ashley's left arm. Both men are looking directly at the viewer. Ashley has a hint of a smile while Lake looks completely neutral, chin tilted up. Lake wears a red hoodie, black cargo pants, and black sneakers, while Ashley wears a loose, mottled grey T-shirt, blue cut-off jeans, and green slip-on shoes. Their shoes are both scuffed and dirty. The image is lit with stark shadows as if from a camera flash directly in front of them. The background is an abstracted, grungy mix of purple rust with an enlarged copy of the lineart burnt in orange behind them with faint text reading "Silver & Iron".
