📍 Philly You probably know me from that one thing. No, not that one. The other one.

Considering getting a boyfriend. I don’t necessarily want to be in a relationship but getting invited to brunch sounds fun and it seems like a requirement in gay middle age. Any takers? I travel a lot for work and will maybe be able to see you once a week/every other week. Sound good?

Sometime in the past 5 years I became a really intentional person when it comes reaching out to make plans. If I’m asking your availability, it’s because I fully intend to see you if you’re free. I wasn’t always like this and that’s helpful to remember when someone drops the ball.

Ice breaker activities always seemed so goofy to me growing up. We were so good at just playing around that the structured activity was more of an annoyance. …but now I’m 40 and a month into a 12-team trivia league where I have yet to talk to anyone outside my own team. 2 truths and a lie anyone?

My favorite thing about living in a not-quite-gentrified neighborhood is that I can leave anything on the curb and it will disappear. And not just small things! Carried down a scratched coffee table that wasn’t moving on fb marketplace and it vanished by the time I got back from lunch.

I know NYC was all in on the knicks this year but opening SNL season 52 with a sports host was a bold choice. Seasons should always open and close with a bonafide banger of a host and that is rarely someone whose biggest skills are on the court/field.

The beginning of this week was gonna be my chance to get back to the gym after a marathon of work trips before my parents come to visit but instead I decided to get my flu shot and covid booster and now I don’t want to move.

a few weeks ago i saw a post that said "im not smart enough to be surrounded by so many people dumber than me" and it crosses my mind more frequently than i could have ever predicted

This whole iced coffee debate has been raging over on threads. I shudder to think the numbers this is going on LinkedIn. These little corporate culture/obedience checks are exhausting. It’s a caffeinated beverage – why are we acting like the candidate walked in topless?

I’m sorry, but if you bring an iced coffee - or any damn beverage at all - to a job interview, you’re disqualified. It’s not hard, people.

Put this picture of me holding the last bell pepper of the season on my regular old IG story and some mutual I’ve never spoken to before replied with “damn. I bet you’re so hung.” Like, shoot your shot but maybe also read a room? This is a produce post.

All this hubbub over the new Fire Emblem game for switch 2 inspired me to finally buy an older one (Three Houses) for my OG switch and I’m kicking myself for not discovering this series sooner. It’s like Final Fantasy Tactics on speed!
