El-Sayed is a Rhodes scholar. He trained as a doctor at Colombia where he became assistant professor of epidemiology and has worked in public health. In short, he is 1000 times more accomplished than Vance's boss.

Lucy has better political instincts than Kemi. He wouldn't be so stupid as to belittle the work of councillors who do so much more than 'parking and bins' whilst defending a neo-nazi. Badenoch is utterly useless.

The VoG rubbish system is SO convoluted that it has just taken D about 30 mins to put it all out. Madness. Different bags for paper, cardboard, hard plastics & cans. Caddies for glass and food waste. General rubbish (black bags) only goes out every 3 weeks. It is exhausting.
This was an exhibit we spent a ton of time at in the Academy Museum, which I highly recommend for Movie People. My girls are creatives. I adore Harryhausen; a master of his craft.

He animated the sequence by himself for more than four months -- without computers or even an easy way to check his work. Just a thought: Perhaps, to appease the people who like to punish others, we lock up too many people.

That a former neo Nazi is welcome in the Badenoch led Tory party but Shapps and Gavin Barwell aren't speaks volumes. It's baffling that Badenoch cannot recognise that the obvious path to power depends on moderate centre right voters.
OK cooks. I buy pork mince because it is much cheaper than beef and I find it easier to digest. I use it for burritos, stir fry, burgers, and the like. Anyone got a 'go to' recipe that they have using pork mince ?
Garlic bread makes a bowl of pasta feel a bit more special and adds some carbs. I buy 6 garlic baguettes from ASDA (36p each) at a time and put them in the freezer so they last across the month. Instantly make dinner seem a bit nicer !
Dinner tonight: pasta (shape TBD) with pesto and bacon, garlic bread, and salad. Nice and easy for a weekday.

Sky News just talked to a former Royal Navy commander who said that the Reform 'stop the boats with the Navy' plan is unworkable and obviously not serious. As I said at 7:30am this morning. It can't happen for so many reasons.
Not feeling the cooking vibe today. So picked up some Bird's Eye tempura battered chicken fillets (1/2 price at the local Spar) Will do some chips and salad to go with it. That will do. .

We've had these 'send in the navy' plans on and off for decades. It doesn't work. It won't work. It can't work. You won't convince the navy to sink unarmed dinghies full of people. That's not how they work. Performative viciousness, that's all.
The Reform plan for using the Navy is nonsense. Ignore it.
I would rather live in a country with people seeking a better life than with people who only want to hurt others. Let's deport the nasty people, Reform and Restore supporters, and welcome the refugees.
