LRT the ONLY thing that warrants fixing in Ocarina is the buttcheeks UX (looking at you Iron Boots) but aside from that, any change is going to drastically change the game to the point where the experience will be fundamentally different.

i won't stand for these "OoT isn't even that good" takes i'm starting to see here. it really is that good, but that's also why a remake is pointless. there's nothing wrong with the original game for a remake to "fix" and you're unlikely to catch lightning in a bottle again to make something better

as a culture we have really given "ideas" way too much credit. ideas are a dime a dozen. they happen all the time. the magic is way more in the doing, and the doing's diminished stature is linked to lack of respect for labor and, more recently, skill and expertise.

i have been under the thrall of Blue Prince for the past month and a half. i am on day 76. i am so close to the end, i can taste it. i have said the phrase “it’s all coming together” about 10 times now. i want to play other games so badly but i cannot stop myself. someone please send help.

There are many reasons to help people. One that I think gets overlooked sometimes is: helping others often helps you. So if you feel like shit, don’t flagellate yourself in the dark. Leave your head a little. Extend some kindness. You can’t do everything, but you can do some things.
