This is beyond disgusting. And they apparently also took a woman and her child earlier. Allowing this activity at our courthouses makes us all less safe - is a domestic violence survivor safe going to court?!

One of my greatest disappointments of the just ended session was our complete inaction on these leeches. We not only didn’t advance legislation to regulate them & stop them from pushing skyrocketing energy costs onto consumers, we also allowed them to continue to avoid paying their share of taxes.

And $561 million of that went to a single company: Amazon. While Hoosiers pay sales tax on groceries, Amazon paid nothing. This isn’t economic development. It’s a heist.
Over the last hour, our office has gotten more than 100 emails urging support for a bill to allow @waymo.bsky.social to operate in IL. The sending pattern (dumps of 40-50 at a time) suggests that these are bot generated and 99% of them say they’re from an address outside the district. 1/2

Yesterday, these incompetent fucks were just going door-to-door in a neighborhood near my house at 8:30 in the morning. School buses were driving through trying to pick up kids, people were out walking their dogs, and people were taking out their trash cans.

They cannot safely exist in any space accessible to the public and moving between private places leaves folks vulnerable to kidnapping by armed masked goons.

The money is there. There are contingency funds. Trump is simply not releasing it because he wants people to starve and blame Democrats even though Republicans hold both chambers of Congress and the White House. And the media will happily go along.

Yesterday in Shilling v. Trump (the 9th Circuit case about the military transgender ban), the government admitted that it has found no evidence to support any of the "traits" that the Secretary of Defense attributed to transgender servicemembers.
