This makes me so mad because everything in the Framework Laptop 13 Pro is a huge game changer. They made a Linux laptop with MacBook Pro quality and insane battery life and then got kicked in the nads by RAM companies. Look what they took from us.
The Framework Laptop 13 Pro is almost everything we hoped for. @superantonio64.bsky.social says it has "the best haptic trackpad not made by Apple." Great battery life too. But that price... www.theverge.com/tech/971160/...

in his lane. focused. flourishing. he's got the bag but he doesn't let it control him. he knows to stay locked in on the grind but to stay mindful as well. you just know this dude keeps it humble too.
the fatiguing "photorealistic" (imo it isn't... real life doesn't look like that) look of halo campaign evolved or the many other games that look like that is not a function of any engine, it's not a default, it's boring people falling slightly short of boring goals
supermodel got more demanding CPU-wise by a lot over the past few years, right? it's not just me? a PC I used to play Spikeout at full speed on can no longer emulate it at full speed regardless of the options I try

xemu has 19x the amount of games they're starting with. 224x if you're willing to settle for "playable" over "perfect", which i'd expect microsoft's first party implementation to amount to tbh. plus you're not giving microsoft any money, which you shouldn't.
Infinitely better idea:
xemu: Original Xbox Emulator
A free and open-source application that emulates the original Microsoft Xbox game console, enabling people to play their original Xbox games on Windows, macOS, and Linux systems.

most of the optimisations in this patch are to the absurdly intensive collision detection, which doesn't use regular boxes but instead generates hit/hurtboxes per-sprite+per-tile(& even then, not accurately) https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Wg0esR4RL_hHugeFbNfxss_SGwdhtSh_mpseoLZyLyo/edit?tab=t.0
Saw that Ranma 1/2 Chougi Ranbu Hen got a patch that improves its framerate to run at a consistent 60fps compared to its original dogshit framerate It honestly transforms the game so much i can see it being another underground kusoge fighter
*confident voice* yeah i've been using leverless controllers for about 20 years
me and my friends in high-school would have killed a robot teacher with hammers
AI company Realbotix is piloting STEM robots for rural schools.
