New from 404 Media: the FBI was able to extract incoming Signal messages from a phone even though the app was deleted. Why? Because parts of messages were stored in the iPhone's internal notification database. Shows how secure chat data can come from unexpected places www.404media.co/fbi-extracts...

Du hast deine IdentitĂ€t bei LinkedIn verifizieren lassen fĂŒr ein blaues HĂ€kchen? Tut mir leid fĂŒr dich. Dein Pass, ID und biometrische Daten schlummern jetzt bei Peter Thiels finanziertem "Persona Identitites". And you're screwed. Here is why: www.golem.de/news/linkedi...

This is very funny but it's also yet another reminder of the fundamental misalignment of this site's leadership and its core user base, which I imagine will cause legitimate and potentially existential problems down the road

Bluesky's new AI tool Attie is already the most blocked account other than J.D. Vance | TechCrunch

More than 125,000 Bluesky users have blocked Attie in just a few days, sending a strong message from the user base.
