Navalny is a hero. Not one step back. 🇺🇦 I'm old but not stupid. Helps to laugh.

Sen. Wyden: It seems that every time Republicans get their hands on Social Security, life gets worse for older people. Thanks to Trump and the Big Beautiful Bill, the crisis is speeding up. It gave huge tax breaks to billionaires and corporations, and plundered Social Security by $168 billion.

Tommy T is legitimately perhaps the dumbest man to ever serve in the U.S. Senate, and while he may have gross fantasies about seceding into a New Confederacy, almost 30% of Alabama residents are non-white. Doubt that they want to be walled into a paranoid white nationalist garrison state.

Tuberville: "If we don't straighten out this country's voting and immigration system, we're not gonna make it. It's gonna be over. I'm gonna go back to Alabama and hey, we might build a 30-foot wall around our state."

Iran, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Qatar, Israel, Brazil. Cuba, Greenland are all in #47s sights for invasion, war and/or pillaging resources. But hey, the ballroom, arch, reflecting pool, Oval tacky stick on gold applique. Vote accordingly in November

Let's be clear, Trump is in Las Vegas to champion his billionaire friends he gave the biggest tax break in history to... not the working families who are struggling in the economy have wrecked. The average Nevada family now pays $2,900 more on necessities since Trump took office.

Trump: "Dana has the most successful fight in history the other night at the White House" (The fight was June 14, nearly two months ago)

The booing of what sounds like a foreign (and no doubt in the man's mind, 'Islamic') name, really speaks volumes about the mindset of some Trump supporters. Even when Trump is gone, this white Christian nationalist section of US society will still remain.

LOMBARDO: So I know the pastor spoke about Officer Abdelnabi-- TRUMP RALLY CROWD: *Boooooo* LOMBARDO: No. We're not booing him. He's the officer that passed away here recently

Trump is trying to pull off a US-style version of the Tiananmen Square Massacre coverup where everyone in China who remembered what happened on June 4, 1989 knows *exactly* what they must not admit and is utterly terrified to speak the truth. I never imagined seeing such abject cowardice in the US.

😮 Trump's nominees are the most pathetic men in the world 😮 During a hearing, Blumenthal made Trump nominees squirm by asking them who won the 2020 election -- a question they refuse to answer -- but then Schiff upped the ante by asking them *who won the 2016 election.* Here's a supercut:

El-Sayed: "I believe our kids have a right to our tax dollars. I'm about 10 min away from schools that look like they did 50 years ago. Our money should be spent here rather than sent in the form of bombs or tanks to foreign govts, particularly when they are doing most heinous things with them ... "

El-Sayed: "If all Mike Rogers got is that 'his name is Abdul, and my name is Mike,' you're gonna be surprised how many people are like, 'Yeah, but that's the Abdul who wants to bring down the price of my groceries and make sure I got healthcare. So yeah, I like Abdul over your Mike from Florida.'"

Hundreds of Haitian immigrants who have had Temporary Protected Status are being told by DHS to appear at ICE offices to be fitted with ankle monitors or face deportation. Haitian immigrants, many of whom have lived in the U.S. for over a decade, deserve a pathway to citizenship — not deportation.

Some Haitian immigrants in Ohio told to report to ICE and given ankle monitors

Hundreds of Haitian immigrants in Ohio who had Temporary Protected Status have been summoned by the ICE for in-person "check-ins," immigration advocates say.
