I kinda miss that brief trend of "game comes out and then a short interquel type thing comes out a little while later" Too bad every publisher used this as an excuse to annualize every franchise forever.

It's really weird that Jager isn't just Hans Grosse like if you're gonna just steal stuff from RTCW why not steal from the entire cannon? Especially if you're gonna go to the effort of making a guy who looks, sounds, acts, and has a very similar boss fight to him.
Video game prequels are so surreal like wdym BJ did all that before New Order?
Wow I had heard the opening of Old Blood was pretty lame and it sure is!
Finished New Order. Absolute cinema, that is a video game. Imagine trying to gut the studio that made this, that would be stupid! Old Blood next.
New character for a Draw Steel campaign im gonna be starting soon. Nerd dork Draconian void-elementalist named Wendelin.
really wish I could get jazzed for that new Quake episode but it's like what are we doing here, man? how can i get excited when i know that everyone that made this is gonna end up in a box before the month is out?
You may not like it, but this is what peak localization looks like (Asterix: Mega Madness (PS1, 2001))
Don't forget. Don't mess it up. Crow Country is pretty great, more people should visit this absolutely not haunted abandoned theme park.
there's a degree of maturity and heart in New Order's writing that I really could not see at the time. it's almost *too* good for Wolfenstein, like I would have been A-OK with this being WW2 action movie schlock.
for those who celebrate: it is the 20th anniversary of a funny dog eat a pepsi.
It is your mission as a human being with taste buds to erase every border
A Better World Is Possible
I remember The New Order being a lot more mid that it is currently being. Gunplay is tight and smooth, I'm genuinely being griped by the cutscenes, it's pretty good.
RTCW done time to go back to The New Order. It sure is fun killing Nazis in video games we probably should have not stopped doing that.
Ray Bradbury’s 1950 story, “There Will Come Soft Rains”, starts with a household AI reminding its owners of their appointments. But nobody is listening; they have all been killed in a nuclear war.
Return to Castle Wolfenstein might have the highest peaks and troughs of any game I regularly play cause the best parts of this game are absolute peam but the bad parts are insanely crusty.
listening log for last month. you can probably already guess which ones are the standouts here.
