Looking into the etymology of dragonfly, it was a bit disappointing. But a child of the 70s raised on Mesozoic dioramas with giant dragonflies. I want to make a retroactive case that dragonflies were the fly contemporaries of dinosaurs. And dinosaurs were the original dragons.
