I’ve seen packaging that says “we care about your experience,” and Ive seen packaging that says “we care about our product,” but this package from @plusoneexp.bsky.social says “We would help you move if you asked.” Great job team. Your professionalism and care is abundantly clear. Thanks you!
Today is my birthday (turning 30), which is the only time each year when I ask you for a repost should you like my art. Have a good day! 🦦🌿✨️ - Simon
😎🪴🌵 There are alternatives to coal, gas, and oil. And there are alternatives to data centers, but there are no alternatives to clean air and clean drinking water
Sometimes, I visit my order page on @plusoneexp.bsky.social just to stare at the product picture and the word “pending” for my Stonetop books. It’s peaceful here.
Dolmenwood just won out over Stonetop for what we’re playing next. This truly is a golden age of ttrpgs.
At a certain point it stops being an “I told you so” moment and starts becoming an intervention for destructive behavior. Republicans are becoming embarrassed by Trump, and it’s time to remind them that they chose this path. He was embarrassing from day one, they just refused to listen.
"Ben owns a farm. He employs 100 workers. His total payroll is $10 million/year. One day, he buys a mule, which provides the worker who uses it with a modest 10% productivity gain. Ben fires 99 of his workers and purchases 99 mules, expecting a 1,000% productivity gain..."

The world hasn’t given up on the Epstein Files. I haven’t given up on the Epstein Files. It sure seems the people I hired to run our government have given up on the Epstein Files, and that’s the real tragedy we should be mad about.
When the interviewer says "Where do you see yourself in five years?" It turns out you're not supposed to say "Living in a bog, handing out quests."
“Well if you cut out 23% of the GDP then inflation drops from 3.8% down to 3.6%!”
KUDLOW: How bad is the inflation right? HASSETT: Right now it's on a deep, downward dive. And the inflation is really out of control in the blue states. So if you take out New York and California, then the story is radically different. And so there's really good news even on inflation right now.
Dolmenwood! Old School hex crawl in an insanely detailed fairy wood. Amazing writing, amazing layout, amazing art. Everything in this game is done with lavish and loving care.
There are so many great OSR/NSR/old-school games out there that deserve more attention than this...thing. So let's hear about them. Repost with an OSR game you want people to know about. I'll start. You should check out Pirate Borg. This is the game that allowed me to learn MB properly. Great game

Ad Astra Games learned about in-house Print-on-Demand publishing from Timeline Ltd's new owners when they reprinted The Morrow Project. I knew of a new kind of laser printer with lower costs-per-click. We shared what we knew with Amarillo Design Bureau, who adopted the process post-haste.
My BS meter has always gone off around Ken. I've been amazed at the places he's landed; but they never work out. I guess noting all that would be seen as punching-down, which no one wants to do.

Dancey’s impact was really interesting to me, because I am intimately familiar with how opening up an RPG was prior to the OGL. It was flawed, but it was light years ahead of other options (creative commons wasn’t yet suited, and most other open licenses were software specific).
Sometimes you give Dancey the benefit of the doubt because OGL created an industry boom in the '00s. But you have to remember he did it for Machiavellian reasons, and successfully killed any number of young RPG publishers. Late-era capitalism is probably the theme the runs through his history.

A thread of how to say “nobody asked you” from around the world, starting with this one… A Lithuanian way of telling someone to mind their own business is ne tavo kiaulės, ne tavo pupos. It means “not your pigs, not your beans.”
Yeah. Sometimes, behind all the bellowing and bluster and fluency in social justice verbiage, you might observe a person’s behavior and realize their vision of justice is just “When is it my turn at the top? When is it my turn to do the violence?”
