Quick little experiment with the Risa tracker for the NES, it's Necrofantasia from Touhou 7. Those auxiliary pulse channels are really doing work here since the harmony notes on the melody are such a big part of the sound of the original.

the results of my doodling tonight. a bit short, a bit cacophonous, but it was fun to make. i've never seriously used lsdj before so this is my first time with this manner of tracking, but i picked it up pretty quickly, it's very intuitive
yeah still gonna flex the fact i made menu music for legit sega console hardware one of my life career goals was to work on audio for toys. believe it or not i originally didn’t aspire to be a game composer as much as i wanted to just mess around with soundchips. but this at least hit both realms😁
