My friends and I are in a restaurant with TVs but also loud music. Happy to log in here and confirm the booing.
Remember that care is action. It's counter to the system that doesn't want you to care & is removing social supports that provided care. If you're caring for your community members & making sure they're solid, you are fighting fascism, so give yourself credit.
Happy 74th birthday to one of my favorite drummers… the legendary Stewart Copeland🥳🎈🎉♥️ #stewartcopeland #thepolice

"So why are people acting like Supergirl is the worst movie ever made? (One critic even said it had the “worst script I can remember.”) There’s a simple answer: misogyny." Yes. I'd add that it's almost certainly coordinated misogyny, and someone is profiting from it. ew.com/supergirl-is...
'Supergirl' is a decent standalone movie — so why is everyone acting like it’s awful?
'Supergirl' has been in theaters for less than a week, and it seems everyone is quick to call it a failure after a disappointing opening weekend at the box office. But does it actually deserve the bac...

Let me get this straight: John Wick gets to go on a multi-movie murder spree because someone killed his dog, but we're pissed at Supergirl for being a bitch because someone poisoned her dog? 🤔

Psst: this isn't really about the Propaganda Trucks from PragerU, operating under the IMLS banner, losing a parking spot. People began to speak up about what this is, and its place at a University was totally inappropriate. (Some of the reporting is inaccurate). thereminder.com/local-news/h...

If you watch the Obama Library, the World Cup, and the Knicks parade this afternoon -- and nothing else -- you can actually see the America we're supposed to be at age 250
How long it takes and how hard it is to undo the damage will depend in large part on the political will of the people elected to do it. If you get hand-wringing caveat peddlers who want to deliberate for years before acting it'll never happen. Plan has to be ready on day one
You will not win if you don't cultivate joy. We survive off joy. Without it, we wither. The oppressor does not have the power to entirely steal your human joy from you.You as human have power to choose joy from your nature. White folks think, it's getting bad, time to have a sad face all the time.
Love to see someone booed lustily. Lustily: the only way to boo.
The America 250 stuff feels very pizza party after layoffs coded.

A literacy crisis means people are struggling to UNDERSTAND what they are reading, not that people can't necessarily read.
This but you can make some noise in parts of the data center because data centers these days are lively, vibrant spaces.
They should build loads of data centers all over the place that contain huge quantities of books that people can borrow for free if they fill out a form to get a data center card and promise to return the books on time and don’t make too much noise in the data center.
Just pulled some materials for a postcard collage I'm working on. Sundays are for art.
