I'm keeping a close eye on this (thanks to @projectsaltbox.com!). After the tent camp plan of 2025 fell through, and the warehouse plan of early 2026 fell through, ICE's third attempt at spending their billions appears to be constructing new permanent detention centers on existing federal property.
